Seminars & Talks

Our seminars feature presentations from local postdoctoral and graduate students presenting their research in progress as well as faculty and scientists from all over the world speaking on TB clinical and basic science.

 

Advanced TB Research Training Course

Our annual Advanced TB Research Training Course, offered in the summer, is intended for students, trainees, as well as experienced investigators who are new to the TB field. 

 

Annual TB Symposium

UW Annual TB Symposium serves as a networking and learning forum for local investigators to present recent data. Our Annual Symposium keynote speaker is world-class TB researcher, Sabine Ehrt, PhD.

 

PacTB

Designed to provide a yearly forum for the West Coast TB research community, PacTB enables the common goals of understanding, diagnosing, treating and preventing tuberculosis.

 

Kenya Tuberculosis Research & Training Program (KTRTP)

The Kenya TB Research & Training Program (KTRTP) was established in late 2019 through a grant from the Firland Foundation. The KTRTP is a collaboration between investigators at the Tuberculosis Research & Training Center (TRTC) and the UW Kenya Research and Training Center (KRTC), both at the University of Washington, and the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and the University of Nairobi (UoN).

Working Groups

i4TB logoWe facilitate TB topic-specific working groups, such as Informatics for TB (i4TB), with recurring meeting schedules to share ideas, introduce new methods, and network among the data science and TB research community.
