The TRTC/SEATRAC will hold our annual Advanced TB Research Training Course virtually. This seminar is geared toward students, trainees, as well as experienced investigators who are new to the TB field. The latest progress and research findings in the TB/HIV fields will be summarized and discussed with the majority of talks focused on clinical epidemiology and implementation science. Topics included: TB Local to Global Epidemiology, Frontiers of TB Immunology and Biomarkers, TB Diagnostics Pipeline and Landscape, Promise of Novel Vaccines and Clinical Trial Considerations, Major Challenges of TB in Low & Middle Income Countries, TB Research Unmet Needs and Priorities for the Next Decade, TB Treatment Discovery of New Drugs and Regimens, TB Pathogenesis, New Directions for TB Prevention, Salient Research Topics for TB/HIV Co-infection, TB Research Unmet Needs and Priorities for the Next Decade, Introduction to TB Disease Modeling, and more…
